Job Title: Part-Time Cleaner & Daycare Assistant

Location: Paws Perrydise

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, occasional Saturday shift

Start Date: Nov/Dec 2025

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and independent individual to join our team as a Part-Time Cleaner & Daycare Assistant . This role involves both maintaining the cleanliness of our facility and assisting with dog daycare operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Initially will only be 10-12hrs per week with the goal to train for 20-22hrs by end of January when my daughter leaves for college again.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Organizing:
• Regularly clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including dog play areas, kennels, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Maintain organization throughout the facility, ensuring everything is in its proper place.
• Follow a checklist of cleaning tasks and ensure completion on time.
• Anticipate cleaning and organizational needs without needing direct instructions.
• Daycare Assistance:
• Assist with supervising the dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being while in the daycare environment.
• Help monitor and manage group play, ensuring positive and safe interactions between dogs.
• Support other staff with general daycare tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in all weather conditions, as some tasks are performed outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working with dogs and understanding the importance of their safety and care.
• Able to work independently and manage time efficiently without micromanagement.
• Previous experience in cleaning, organizing, or animal care is a plus, but not required.
• The role involves frequent bending, lifting, and carrying. As well as long term standing and walking around. This isn't ideal for those who may have lots of restrictions as the dogs can be a bit rough on our bodies.
