Title Clerk

North Park Lincoln is seeking an individual with high character and strong work ethic who is looking for a career in an exciting, fast-paced business to perform a variety of general accounting, detailed postings and clerical support tasks in the accounting department, while learning the specialized duties of the vehicle registration in a dealership. A great candidate would be one who is willing and able to work cross-departmentally to ensure our business runs as smoothly as possible.

Experience in a car dealership or related industry is preferred.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Assign titles and MCOs
• Write checks for vehicles purchased
• Prepares and submits requests for a duplicate title
• Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete
• Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
• Maintains a system to verify titles are received timely
• Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month
• Prepares title packets for all used vehicles
• Directs title runner in daily routines
• Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area
• Other tasks as assigned

• Strong data and entry management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
