Job Description

Oracle Apex Developers
Location: Remote, TX (must reside in Austin surrounding areas)
Project Length: 12+months

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled team of Oracle APEX Developers to design and build applications tailored to meet future regulatory needs. Each Developer will play a crucial role in transforming system designs into functional applications on the Oracle APEX platform, ensuring compliance with industry standards and security policies.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must be Oracle APEX Developer Certified Expert
  • Must be Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with web technologies, including basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development
  • At least 4 years of proficiency in Oracle Application Express (APEX) for developing web applications
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL for data modeling and PL/SQL for backend programming
  • Experience in Oracle Database management and optimization
  • Familiarity with using and integrating APEX plugins to extend application functionality
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development:
    • Design and develop custom APEX applications that meet specified business needs.
    • Interpret system specifications and collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders for a comprehensive understanding of requirements.
  • Database Management:
    • Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts to enhance application functionality and ensure efficient, secure data handling.
    • Integrate daily uploads from current systems into the APEX application, ensuring seamless data synchronization and accessibility.
  • Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure all applications comply with industry standards, security policies, and best practices, implementing robust data protection measures.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with team members to share knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
