Job Description

  • Support research scientists with their experiments based on company protocols, methods, and procedures.
  • Run routine HPLC, UHPLC, SEC, and LC-MS analytical assays following established methods and help with routine data capture, analysis and storage.
  • Run routine non-LC based assays as needed following established methods and procedures.
  • Run daily performance checks using an internal standard reference for quality control.
  • Perform weekly buffer preparations and daily calibration and maintenance for analytical instruments.
  • Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting (hardware & software) for lab equipment.
  • Assist with organizing and cleaning the lab and work environment.
  • Maintain GLP and good documentation in electronic lab notebook.
  • Follow safety practices.

Required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related fields with 1-2 years of related laboratory experience. 
  • Detail oriented with an analytical mindset.
  • Hands-on experience with pipetting and HPLC, UHPLC, and/or LC-MS.
  • Understanding of industry practices and standards.
  • Ability to set priorities, adapt to change, and deliver quality results in a timely manner.
  • Strong scientific, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Strong team orientation and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related fields with 3-4 years of related laboratory experience. Master's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related fields with 1-2 years of related laboratory experience.
  • Experience with RNA and LNP analytics.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position is  Full Time, Monday-Friday, First Shift, Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Boston, MA,  are encouraged to apply
