Old Mates, an authentic Australian pub, is searching for a passionate and skilled Barbacks to join our team.We are in need of strong team members to join our concept and help build and maintain the value and quality of the Old Mates vision. We’re dedicated to excellence in every detail, and we seek team members who share our commitment to crafting unforgettable dining experiences.

• $18 Hourly wage, starting
• Opportunities to grow alongside a close knit, hard working staff with a strong focus on teamwork and professionalism

• An introduction on how to develop and produce the major components of a dynamic cocktail program
• A close look at and education in the foundations of bartending

• Knowledge of basic bar components and tools
• Basic knowledge of spirits
• Basic knowledge of preparing and producing garnishes for drinks
• Ability to read and modify recipes to scale
• Ability to work at a fast past while maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
• Ability to carry heavy weight
• Open to taking direction while work closely alongside team members
• Strong communication skills to relay needs of establishment to management to complete tasks
