Job: Window Installer / Measure Technician

Location: Albany, NY (with travel up to 2 hours)

Job Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday) Year-round work

Pay: $35–$40 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Door and  Window Installer / Measure Technician to join our growing team. This dual-role position is critical to ensuring a seamless experience for our customers—from accurate measurements post-sale to expert installation of windows and doors.  Driving is Required, Company Vehicle Provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform post-sale re-measurements of window and door openings to ensure precise product ordering
  • Accurately document measurements and installation requirements
  • Install replacement windows and doors in residential homes with a high level of craftsmanship and efficiency
  • Ensure all installations meet company and industry standards
  • Communicate with the project management and customer service teams to coordinate and confirm installation details
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, both on-site and in company vehicles
  • Travel to job sites within a 2-hour radius of Albany, NY

Customer Service:

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process
  • Address any questions or concerns with professionalism and confidence
  • Represent Yankee Home’s values of Integrity, Responsibility, Excellence, and Listening at every customer interaction

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience installing windows and doors (residential).
  • Must have a Valid Clean Driver's License as per company policy.
  • Strong knowledge of installation techniques and tools
  • Ability to accurately measure window and door openings and communicate technical details clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation to report to the Albany office.
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
