Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck/Forklift Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement repairs
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
• Repair and replace parts as needed, ensuring equipment is in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and repair logs
• Work collaboratively with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a forklift mechanic or similar role
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Certification in forklift repair (preferred) or the ability to obtain
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
