Job Description

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor and Delivery unit in Clovis, California. This role is essential for providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients throughout labor and delivery, ensuring optimal care and safety.
• Provide support during the labor process, including administering medications and managing pain relief options.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about the labor process, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
