Job Title: Travel LPN – Long Term Care (LTC)

Unit: Long Term Care
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Evenings (Every Other Weekend Required)
Schedule: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $1,675 Weekly Gross
Local Pay Rate: $37/hour
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting located in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional care to residents in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising RN or physician.
Assist with daily living activities, maintaining patient comfort, safety, and dignity.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Accurately document all care, observations, and interventions using the facility’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Maintain infection control standards and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Float across multiple LTC units within the same facility as needed.
Active LPN License in the state of New York (unrestricted and in good standing).
Minimum of 1 year of recent Long Term Care (LTC) experience required.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Proficiency in PointClickCare EMR system preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to adapt to different care units and maintain professionalism under pressure.
