  • Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and respond efficiently.
  • Report and correct breaks in sterile technique.
  • Monitor surgical schedule progression and communicate delays or changes to the team.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the surgical team and patient care.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
Every day in the operating room brings an opportunity to make a direct impact on patient outcomes. You’ll work alongside an expert team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values precision, safety, and collaboration.

Who You Are

  • Experience in materials management in a surgical setting (desired).
  • Current BLS certification (required).
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique, equipment handling, and OR safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and IFUs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently.

There may be occasions when you're on your feet for extended periods, involving tasks such as pushing, pulling, or moving patients on stretchers. Your work environment may expose you to anesthetic gases, hazardous chemicals, blood and body fluids, sharps, and cleaning solutions. You'll need to move all extremities within the full range of motion and perform stooping and bending at 90 degrees. Regularly, you'll lift and move objects up to 20 pounds and possess specific vision abilities, including close vision. The surgical arena features a moderate noise level, creating a professional and supportive atmosphere dedicated to patient care and your professional development.
