Job Summary
The job of School Bus Assistant is done for the purpose/s of providing support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for assisting in assuring safe transporting special education students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions; assisting with enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport; and assisting in ensuring the safety of special education students during transport, loading and unloading from buses. This job reports to Director of Transportation.
