Job Description

cFocus Software seeks a Site Lead/Senior GIS Analyst to join our program supporting the Department of Customer and Border Protection (CBP). This position is fully remote.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, or other related fields
• 8+ years of experience in GIS work with at least 2 years of experience in a direct supervisory role of fellow GIS professionals
• Experience with imagery and image analysis
• Experience shall include generating complex, multi-layered maps and performing
• complex geospatial analyses.
• Shall be knowledgeable in GIS technologies, best practices, and concepts
• Familiar with relational database fundamentals and concepts
• Have experience in the development of GIS applications using mobile and web-based mapping platforms.
• Shall have the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical computer users, both orally and in writing.

Duties:

• Serves as the senior site lead across any remote sites or office locations.
• Document and monitor assigned tasks and act as senior analyst, providing support and guidance to GIS Analysts and GIS Developers in the performance of complex geospatial analysis.
• Anticipate problems and provide mitigation and issue resolution.
• Schedule and assign duties to subordinates and complete tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
• Interact with Government management personnel and team leaders, prepare and provide both written and oral reports to contractor management and Government representatives, including the COR and CO
