Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree is necessary.
• Candidates must be legally permitted to work in the United States without needing employer sponsorship at any point in the future.
• An active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required.
• Candidates should be able to work on-site in Chantilly, VA, five days a week.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Python is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in applying data science methodologies using common programming or scripting languages is expected.

Responsibilities:

• As a Data Scientist on our team, I will support spatiotemporal research and applied data science initiatives concentrated on high-priority client missions. My responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Designing, developing, and implementing advanced methods in AI and machine learning to tackle complex challenges.
• Acting as an AI thought leader, which involves creating whitepapers, presentations, executive briefings, reports, and various materials to support AI solutions and services.
• Guiding federal clients with significant autonomy in AI strategy and development, encompassing understanding agency needs, conducting exploratory data analysis, building and validating models, and deploying these models in both on-prem and cloud environments.
• Serving as a subject matter expert to GPS clients and a global AI partner ecosystem.
• Iterating on and/or developing repeatable, reusable processes and scalable data systems that address technical and deployment challenges.
• Maintaining and advocating for data science best practices regarding new methodologies, technologies, industry trends, and open-source packages.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with other scientists, data engineers, federal account managers, and leadership to ensure project delivery and success.
