Position Overview: A rapidly growing CPA firm is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant / CPA to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and clients. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting. Sponsorship Available!Key Responsibilities: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, including reconciliation and financial analysis. Handle payroll & prepare and file sales tax returns for various states and ensure timely submission. Prepare and review business tax returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065) and individual tax returns (1040) with accuracy and compliance. Provide expert accounting and tax advice to clients. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and handle their tax and accounting needs independently.Requirements: Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer. Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures. Proficiency with accounting software, including Quick-Books both Desktop and online, ProSeries, and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. A balanced approach to being detail-oriented and meeting deadlines. Strong understanding of financial principles and reporting. Educational Requirements and Experience: CPA or EA is a strong plus; international equivalents such as CA or ACCA are also an advantage.. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Why Join Us?
