School Counselor (Full-Time, Middle School) – 2025–2026 School Year – In-Person – Champaign, Illinois

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated School Counselor for the 2025–2026 school year in a supportive middle school setting in Champaign, Illinois. This is a full-time, in-person role starting in August 2025, with opportunities for future school years.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person

• Location: Middle school, Champaign, Illinois

• Start Date: August 2025

• Service Area: Counseling, classroom guidance, staff and parent consultation

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students

• Deliver classroom guidance lessons and social-emotional learning activities

• Consult and collaborate with school staff, parents, and community resources

• Support student academic, social, and emotional development

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Certificate with School Counselor Endorsement (K-12)

• Vocational counseling endorsement preferred but not required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Passion for supporting middle school students and fostering inclusive environments
