Are you passionate about helping elementary school students overcome learning challenges and build their confidence?

Club Z! Tutoring of Bethesda is looking for outstanding educators to offer personalized, one-on-one tutoring for young students in the Olney, Maryland area.

Why are most of our tutors active educators? Because we provide the flexibility, support, and pay that teachers deserve!

This is for private tutoring located in Montgomery County, MD. Applicants must live or work in the Greater Olney, Sandy Spring, Silver Spring, or Aspen Hill, MD areas. This is not a virtual tutoring position! 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person, one-on-one tutoring sessions with an individually matched elementary school-age student located close to you in the greater Olney area.
• Develop and implement personalized lesson plans.
• Communicate progress and goals with parents.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Build student confidence.  

Qualifications:

• Passion for teaching and engaging with younger students.
• Strong knowledge of elementary subjects, particularly ELA and numeracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience working with younger students with learning differences.
• Familiarity with DIBELS, MAP-R, and MAP-M assessments is helpful 
• Ability to pass a background check.

Experience:

• Experience in tutoring or teaching elementary school subjects is a plus.
• Experience with IEPs and 504 Plans, and supporting students with one.
