Unite Contracting is seeking a skilled Fluxcore 6GR welder to join our dynamic team in Belle Chasse, LA. Responsibilities

• Perform flux-cored arc welding on various types of pipes and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all welds meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and integrity.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure project success.
• Work on average 5/10's

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a weld test.
• Proven experience as a 6GR flux-cored welder.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
