Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a seasoned Salesperson to join our team! We are looking for someone who seeks more than base pay. This position will receive $16-$17 during training period and after $17-$18.50 per hour with a commission structure of 2-4% on your sales, with a minimum sales expectation each month. A seasoned go-getter will minimally take home $30-$60/hour with commissions factored in.

As a sales representatives you are the principal point of contact between our business and its customers. As the face of our company, you will be answering queries and pursuing sales leads. We are seeking someone with a positive, energetic attitude who has an aggressive approach to sales. We are looking to fill a part-time position which will provide approximately 24 hours weekly of work. Additional hours as needed (covering shifts for others). This position will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (mandatory 11am-7pm daily), and other days only when needed.

We are a happy, fun, family-friendly retail pet store and are currently looking to increase staffing. This is growing store and you will be standing, walking, talking to customers, or caring for the pups most of the day. You will also need to track leads, do call backs, utilize pipelines, complete contact & follow ups from chat widgets & emails, and place social media postings regularly to aid in sales! Experience in sales, following up with customers, and digitally driven sales will increase odds of success and high earnings in this position!

Responsibilities:

• Serve customers by matching needs with the right puppy
• Comfortable calling warm leads daily to drive foot traffic!****
• Experience with CRM or tracking sales leads
• Learn, understand and utilize our lending systems and POS to close transactions
• Negotiate pricing when necessary
• Field inbound phone calls from interested customers
• Match and explain the best lending solutions to customers for their new pet
• Create new postings on socials to drive traffic daily!
• Keep general maintenance of the store during working hours, close the store when necessary
• Develop your book of business by keeping names, following through on prior conversations and scanning approvals.
• Available for scheduling 11am-7pm Monday-Saturday, Noon-6pm Sunday
• Weekends MANDATORY**

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pet sales is A+++ (but not required by any means)
• Experience in sales REQUIRED (minimum 1 year)
• Experience with social media platforms preferred
• High level of comfort developing rapport with customers
• Door to Door experience & prospecting experience is a +++
• Fast moving and self motivated
• Positive attitude a must **

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
