Job Description

Description The Network Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves monitoring network systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with IT teams to support business operations and technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities + Network Administration: Configure, maintain, and optimize LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. + Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve connectivity issues. + Security Management: Implement and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. + Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes. + Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors for hardware/software procurement and support. + Upgrades & Patching: Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates. + Disaster Recovery: Assist in developing and testing network-related disaster recovery plans. + Support: Provide technical support for network-related issues to internal teams. Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). + 2-4 years of experience in network administration or analysis. + Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols. + Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios). + Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices. + Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent. + Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
