Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join the Cybersecurity Technology team at a Fortune 50 financial institution. This is a fully on-site role requiring presence five days a week in one of the following locations: Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of moderately complex tools and systems designed to mitigate the risk of malicious cyber threats. You'll play a key part in safeguarding system boundaries, hardening computer systems and network devices, and protecting sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Design and implement Windows-based software systems that address complex networking and security challenges.
• Ensure 24/7 uptime and reliability of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services.
• Apply deep knowledge of Windows internals to meet stringent security and networking requirements.
• Engineer and maintain all aspects of the company's PKI, including:
• Internally and externally hosted Certification Authorities (CAs) and Registration Authorities.
• Enterprise certificate management systems.
• Enterprise Code Signing Services application, including bug fixes and enhancements.
• Leverage expert-level understanding of PKI to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Utilize a strong grasp of IP networking fundamentals (DNS, IP routing, VPN, etc.) in daily tasks.
• Produce detailed technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.
• Collaborate effectively with peer teams and foster cross-functional partnerships.
• Operate independently within a structured environment, demonstrating initiative in the absence of clear direction.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.

Skills And Requirements

• 5+ years of Microsoft Technologies and Windows Servers System Administration experience
• 5+ years' experience with .Net Core Framework, SQL Server and MySql DB and PowerShell scripting
• 5+ years' experience with HTML5, Java Script, and C# - PowerShell, Angular, Cloud/Azure
• Some Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Certification Authorities (ADCS), in a CA Admin role
• Some knowledge of HSM (Hardware Security Modules) Thales/Safenet
• Practical knowledge of cybersecurity issues, vulnerabilities and defenses
