As a Locum MD, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthetic care to patients across various age groups. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during surgery
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and consultations
• Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery
• Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Stay updated on the latest anesthetic techniques and protocols

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of a residency in Anesthesiology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of California
• Strong understanding of pediatric anesthesiology principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient safety
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred

Flexible Schedule: Minimum 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

No call

Patient Census: 1 per day

Patient Ages: Pediatric

CRNA and resident supervision required

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
