Summary:  

The Line Service Technician will perform various general duties necessary to maintain and enhance the safety and cleanliness of the facility. 

Duties & Responsibilities:  

1. Wash aircraft exterior and vacuum and detail interior. 
2. Assist with aircraft movement. 
3. Assist maintenance department when requested. 
4. Assist with wing-walking duties as required. 
5. Provide shuttle service for passengers/crew as needed. 
6. Wash and detail member vehicles. 
7. Position member vehicles under overhang before passenger arrival. 
8. Organize member keys in dispatch office. 
9. Purchase cleaning supplies pertaining to the cleaning of member vehicles. 
10. Fill member vehicles with fuel. 
11. Clean hangar floors. 
12. Clean front entrance and ramp areas, empty trash and recycling, wash lobby windows, and restock drinks in lobby refrigerator. 
13. Marshall arriving aircraft into ramp. 
14. Assist arriving/departing members with luggage. 
15. Perform snow removal duties as needed. 
16. Perform basic landscaping and maintenance duties, including spraying for weeds. 
17. Regular and predictable on-site attendance. 
18. Demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values and “Supply the High” in all interactions. 
19. Performs other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  

• Basic computer skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the company and its customers 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Work under minimal supervision 
• Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and on call 
• Ability to receive and maintain airport security clearance to work on airport property  

Education and Work Experience:  

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
• Valid driver’s license while maintaining a good driving record required 

Physical Requirements:  

• Move up to 100 pounds on an infrequent basis 
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and climates 
• Medium to heavy work requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching 
• Drive automatic transmission vehicles; manual transmission preferred 

 Documentation Requirements: 

• Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US

Compensation:

Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to team members.  Starting hourly wages for this position ranges from $15 to $22 /hour. Actual hourly rates are provided is dependent upon geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training and experience of the candidate.
