Human Resources Manager

Location: Onsite Full-Time Exempt

Our client a dynamic and growing organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and strengthen their HR function. This role is an excellent opportunity for a confident HR professional who thrives on building compliant people-focused programs while driving organizational success.

What Youll Do

As the HR Manager youll be the go-to leader for all things people compliance and culture. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with all Federal and multiple State Employment & Labor laws.

  • Overseeing Workers Compensation policies and procedures.

  • Leading full-cycle recruitment and onboarding initiatives.

  • Conducting annual reviews of employee compensation and benefits.

  • Managing open enrollment FMLA and short-term disability.

  • Full accountability for all aspects of payroll.
  • Serving on the 401K plan review committee.

  • Designing and implementing employee evaluation programs.

  • Analyzing exit interview trends and reporting insights to senior leadership.

  • Mentoring and developing HR staff to grow capabilities and engagement.

  • Partnering with employment attorneys on compliance and policy matters.

  • Assessing organizational training needs and rolling out effective programs.

  • Participating in disciplinary and grievance processes with fairness and professionalism.

Youll report directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting and serve as a key advisor to senior leadership.

What You Bring

Our client is seeking someone with both strong technical HR knowledge and exceptional leadership presence. Ideal candidates will have:

  • 57 years of progressive HR experience in an organization of 100 employees.

  • Proven expertise in FMLA and ADA administration.

  • Hands-on experience managing compliance across multiple states .

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR best practices.

  • A Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field (required).

  • Ability to work onsite in a collaborative team environment.
