Position Overview:

The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor is responsible for providing a clean,

orderly, safe, and attractive environment for residents, visitors, and care team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direction and guidance for the housekeeping / laundry staff.
• Participate in the hiring, disciplining, and evaluation of housekeeping / laundry care team

members.

• Conduct inventory of personal items of new residents.
• Inspect community cleanliness, sanitation and infection control, and take corrective

action.

• Order supplies, check shipments, and conduct inventories.
• Monitor supply usage for appropriateness and efficiency.
• Prepare work schedules and maintain adequate staffing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in housekeeping / laundry; one year of supervisory experience preferred in a long-term care setting.
