About the Position:
A high-profile family in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, is seeking a professional, trustworthy, and detail-oriented housekeeper to care for their large townhouse (8,000 sq. ft.). While the home is expansive, only lived-in and regularly used spaces require daily cleaning. The ideal candidate is active, highly organized, discreet, and able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness while managing household laundry and supporting family routines.
Responsibilities:
Perform deep cleaning and daily upkeep of lived-in rooms and common areas.
Handle all family laundry with care, including washing, folding, and organizing.
Assist with family needs, such as preparing the 7-year-old child’s after-school items (e.g., ensuring swim gear is packed).
Follow household directions and preferences meticulously.
Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times.
Support a busy household with flexibility and reliability.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of professional housekeeping experience in a private home.
Strong attention to detail and ability to clean thoroughly.
Must be active, energetic, and able to manage a large home.
Excellent English communication skills.
High level of trustworthiness, discretion, and professionalism.
