Heavy Equipment Operator – Underground Utilities Construction
Project Locations – Typically in PA, WV, VA and MD
Our Client, a well-established underground utility construction company, is seeking a dependable, experienced and safe Heavy Equipment Operator to join their utilities construction crew. Mainline digging excavator experience is highly preferred.
This position requires weekly travel typically in PA, WV, MD and / or VA; Some home daily projects depending on where employees reside. Meet at project sites Monday typically home Thursday evenings.
Experience Required:
•Previous experience operating on construction sites - Excavator, backhoe, dozers, rollers, skid steers
•Experience running site utilities: Water lines, Sanitary, Storm Water, Retention Systems, Gas Lines, etc. is required
•Earthwork and grading experience
•Must be willing to complete laboring duties as needed
•Valid Driver’s license is required with CDL License a plus
•Ability to travel and stay overnight for out-of-town projects
•Pre-employment background and drug testing will be required
Compensation & Scheduled Overview:
•Hourly rate; many projects are paid at prevailing wage
•Most projects crew will meet at construction site early Monday then home Thursday.
•Overtime and 5+ days required at times. Must work overtime hours when required
•Company pays lodging if out of town
•Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance coverage is available after 90 days of service

•Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay offered
