Golf Cart Attendant
Golf course in Goose Creek, South Carolina is looking for a Golf Cart Attendant.
Position Overview:
Essential Functions:
• Greets customers and assists with loading and unloading equipment on carts.
• Provides relative information regarding golf course conditions, local rules, expected playing time, golf course safety, emergency procedures, golf course etiquette and other golf-related issues.
• Verifies receipts of players.
• Assists players as necessary with carts, scorecards and rules of play.
• Maintains clean and orderly appearance of the starter’s area at all times.
• Provides emergency assistance to golfers as necessary.
• Observes and coordinates pace of play.
• Reminds golfers to replace divots, repair ball marks and rake sand traps.
• Replenishes water in drinking containers on course.
• Assists Pro Shop staff in preparing for and running tournaments, clinics and other special events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Knowledge of groundskeeping.
Ability to provide quality service to customers.
Knowledge of the golf course layout.
Knowledge of golfing rules and regulations.
Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to be attentive to surroundings while working on a golf course.
Compensation:
$9.50 per hour.
