Your New Role

Based in Little Rock, AR (service area includes Little Rock, Pine Bluff, and Hot Springs), you’ll:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial generators.

• Accurately diagnose issues with engines, electrical systems, fuel systems, and controls.

• Communicate findings and repair options clearly to customers, using written option sheets and photo documentation.

• Order necessary parts and ensure trucks are fully stocked for scheduled appointments.

• Process warranty claims and maintain documentation for service calls.

• Collaborate with service coordinators, supervisors, and other team members to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Deliver professional customer experiences while protecting and respecting the customer's property.

• Promote service agreements (Club Memberships) to customers during service calls.

• Maintain safety standards, cleanliness, and accurate inventory of assigned vehicles and equipment.

• Proven experience as a generator technician or mechanic.

• Generac and Briggs & Stratton certifications are strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fuel systems, and engine diagnostics.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Minimum of 2 years troubleshooting and repairing generator systems.

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Valid driver’s license and insurability under company policy.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Comfortable working in all weather conditions, confined spaces, and at heights.

• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs., climbing ladders, and maneuvering equipment.

• Willing to participate in ongoing training and occasional after-hours work.
