Foreclosure Paralegal - Fort Lauderdale, FL

A respected law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to support its growing practice. This role involves managing a high-volume caseload from demand through final judgment, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and file foreclosure documents: demand letters, liens, complaints, motions, stipulations, judgments, and sale notices.

Communicate professionally with homeowners, associations, and attorneys.

Ensure FDCPA and Florida foreclosure law compliance.

Manage deadlines, hearing schedules, and case documentation.

Handle estoppels, payoff letters, and trust accounting related to file closings.

Assist with bank actions, mortgage searches, and case management motions.

Organize pleadings and documents in Filesite or equivalent systems.

Qualifications:

3+ years of foreclosure or community association law experience.

Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Strong drafting, communication, and case management skills.

Familiarity with FDCPA, Florida foreclosure process, and legal software.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
