We are seeking a dedicated legal professional to add to our high-energy legal team in order to serve clients facing stressful family matters primarily in the Canton, OH area.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do:
• Represent clients in family law hearings, mediations, and trials
• Draft motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and final orders
• Guide clients through complex legal and emotional situations
• Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys on case strategy
• Oversee case files, track progress, and manage deadlines
• Communicate regularly with clients and opposing counsel
• Occasional travel required across WV and OH
Qualifications:
What You Need: • Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent courtroom presence and legal writing skills
• Strong communication and client relationship abilities
• Confidence under pressure and compassion for people in crisis
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
