We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual focused on clients and possessing empathy to join our expanding team of professionals. This position is remote, offering flexibility and independence, but it requires a high level of discipline and reliability. Except for court appearances, all tasks will be conducted entirely remotely. You should be comfortable working autonomously with minimal oversight in a work-from-home setting. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Virginia Family Law, particularly in litigation, is essential, as you will be representing clients in Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William County Courts (with occasional appearances in Arlington and Alexandria). The family law litigation attorney will oversee cases from start to finish with the assistance of support staff. Successful candidates will possess strong research, drafting, negotiation, and trial advocacy skills. While managing cases is the primary duty, the ideal candidate should bring more than just legal expertise. Given that clients and potential clients are navigating a highly emotional period, you must be able to show empathy, compassion, build genuine connections with diverse individuals, and consistently deliver exceptional client service. Ability to manage deadlines and keep clients informed is an essential part of the job. Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience. Associates receive origination bonuses for cases they bring in. Additional quarterly bonuses are on offer based on performance.
