**Job Title: Door Installer (Trim Carpenter)**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Door Installer with a strong background in trim carpentry to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality installation of wood, fiberglass, and wrought iron doors for our team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to precise specifications for door installation and trim work.
- Install doors, frames, hardware, and trim with a keen eye for detail, ensuring alignment, fit, and finish meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Inspect and repair existing door installations and trim work, ensuring durability and visual appeal.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex carpentry challenges within the scope of door installations.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a trim carpenter or similar role with a specialization in door installations.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and measuring devices.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry practices related to door and trim installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certificate or diploma in carpentry or related field (not required).
- Must have a valid drivers license with clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience with a variety of door types, including interior, exterior, commercial, and residential.
