Job Description

DATTCO's Accelerated Property Management (APM) division currently has an opening for a Construction Worker in New Britain, CT.

DATTCO is a third-generation, family-owned transportation company with over 2,000 employees throughout New England. The APM division provides property management services including landscaping, facilities management and construction to DATTCO divisions as well as external customers. Primary responsibilities:

  • Keep vehicle/equipment clean and fluids checked daily
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of our organization
  • Ability to keep accurate daily paperwork
  • Exceptional organization skills dealing with various projects that come to light

Minimum requirements:

  • 2 years construction experience
  • High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds

The following experience is ideal but we are willing to train:

  • Underground pipe laying in water main & water lateral installation
  • Sanitary sewer main
  • Lateral installation, storm & drainage installation
  • Underground utilities
  • Snow plowing
