Job Description

Construction Assistant Project Manager Support the management team and Project Managers in planning, executing, and finalizing construction projects. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Verify that quality and safety standards are utilized throughout the process from submittal and installations to start-up and turnover, while continuing to monitor and update management on progress, issues, and concerns. Requirements We’re looking for a candidate who:

• Must be detail-oriented that demonstrates organizational skills and has an eye for quality
• Must be an effective communicator that communicates clearly and confidently
• Must be proficient in excel, word, outlook, and have basic knowledge with Bluebeam
• Must be a problem solver that tackles challenges head on ensuring projects stay on track both in time and within budget
• Must have 5+ years working in the construction industry with 2+ years in project management
• Would consider a candidate without experience if they hold one of the following degrees:
• Construction Management
• Architecture
• Interior Design

• Communication- Both with field employees, other contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and management.
• Documentation- Maintain project documentation to monitor and track progress and to identify areas of concern.
• Procurement- Assist with the procurement of materials and equipment ensuring items are on site when needed.
• Coordination- Assist with the coordination of teams and managing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects with maximum efficiency.
• Budget Monitoring- Help manage project budgets by monitoring expenses and assisting with forecasting to ensure all goals are met.
• Project Closeout- Participate with final inspections and help with documentation preparation.
