Growing together.** Works collaboratively as a senior member of the Business Intelligence & Reporting team under direction of KSC Application Technology Leadership. Supports, develops, and maintains business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, and reporting systems. Acts as a project lead or team member on multi-team projects and uses advanced skill set to develop, test, troubleshoot, and support BI and reporting-related projects and associated solutions/applications. Acts as mentor to others learning essential and advanced BI and/or reporting-related skills. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in technical or equivalent work experience + 4+ years of experience in data warehouse/business intelligence development. Experience as BI/DW architect or lead in at least one BI/DW initiative / project. Senior level member of BI/DW initiatives and projects. + Experience with Tools and Platforms. Indicate areas where you have significant experience and technical knowledge:MS SQL Database Services / Transact-SQL (T-SQL) + MS SQL Analysis Services (SSAS) + MS SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) + MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) + Business Objects / Crystal Reports + Cognos + Oracle BI + MicroStrategy + Other BI/DW Toolsets + Understanding and Knowledge Areas. Indicate areas where you have thorough understanding and applied experience: + Data Warehouse Design + Reporting and Visualization + OLAP / Cubes + KPIs, Scorecards, Dashboards + Ad-Hoc Reporting + Analytics and Data Interpretation + Data Mining Techniques + Metadata Management + Data Quality Assurance + Master Data Management **Preferred Qualifications:** + Advanced degree + Advanced certification includes: + MS SQL-related Certifications + Crystal Report-Related Certifications + Vendor-Specific Certifications + Experience in the healthcare industry, large-scale data warehousing, and/or exposure to Epic Systems Clarity + Proven communication and problem-solving skills; Computer literate *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment.
