Job Description

Job Title:  Dispatcher

Shift: Monday–Friday | Evening Shift

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist clients with scheduling reservations.
  • Schedule and dispatch chauffeurs based on client needs and driver availability.
  • Assign drivers and vehicles efficiently while factoring in traffic, timing, distance, and capacity.
  • Monitor trips using GPS and communicate updates or changes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time trip records, including routes, schedules, cancellations, and reschedules.
  • Support driver and vehicle readiness by helping ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and chauffeurs about delays, route changes, and special instructions.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly, including schedule conflicts, last-minute changes, and emergencies.
  • Use local traffic and road knowledge to optimize routes and reduce delays.
  • Deliver professional customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to keep operations running seamlessly.

What You Bring:

  • Dispatching experience (transportation industry preferred).
  • Comfort with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work independently and confidence in making sound decisions.
  • Quick problem-solving skills and calm judgment under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
