Job Overview Midwest Heritage Construction LLC is seeking skilled Carpenters to join our growing team. As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in residential and commercial construction projects, working under the direction of senior carpenters while collaborating with team members of all experience levels. This is a hands-on position where you'll sharpen your framing skills, contribute to high-quality builds, and take pride in craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities - Assist with framing, building, and finishing tasks on residential and commercial projects.
- Work under the leadership of senior carpenters while mentoring less experienced teammates.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Travel to various project sites as needed.
Qualifications - 3+ years of carpentry or framing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications is a plus.
- Strong teamwork mindset with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new methods and grow into leadership opportunities.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and work in a physically demanding environment.
- No formal education or certifications required.

- Paid Time Off:
- Accrual begins immediately at 1 hour PTO per 40 hours worked (up to 40 hours per year).
- After 90 days, accrued PTO becomes available for use.
- At the end of each calendar year, PTO is reset and increases annually by 8 hours for each additional year of service.

Schedule - Full-Time, Monday - Friday
- Day Shifts (8-10 hours per day)

- Projects are primarily based in Illinois with occasional travel for out-of-town work (per diem provided).
