Assembles and analyzes inpatient, emergency department, outpatient surgery, observation medical records according to established protocols.
Interacts with hospital and medical staff to coordinate the completion of medical records and the generation of information needed for the quality improvement program.
Reviews authenticity of requests for release of information and responds accordingly, providing access to or copies of appropriate sections of the medical record and accurately logging such requests in ROI software program and in the medical record.
Performs other record management duties, such as late filing, purging and imaging of patient records.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
Data entry and typing skills.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with all hospital personnel.
